Join us for the biggest and best New Year's Eve party in North County San Diego! Volunteers are always welcome to participate with us at First Night.
Assignments are short and fun. We're always looking for extra help at the event. If you are age 16 or older and would like to work a 2-hour shift, e-mail us at: jimcbyler@yahoo and we will contact you as soon as possible. We'll be delighted to work with you to give you an assignment that you'll enjoy.
Volunteer opportunities include:
- venue greeters
- set-up & take down
- button booth entrance greeters
- street surprises assistants
- stage managers and assistants (some experience required)
- check-in for Command Central
- runners
- floaters
- participatory arts (crown, mask and puppet making)
- face painters
- food for volunteers (pick up & set up)
- radio checker
- Earth balloon assistants
- rock wall assistants
- reserved parking attendant/emergency assistance
- sand sculpture security
- barrier guards
- Battle of the Bands assistants
